Description: The Product support specialist will assist with and be responsible for application interface testing, writing and maintaining technical documentation, as well as assist the support team with complex product support issues. The product specialist will work closely with the development team and report directly to the VP product development. An understanding or desire to learn financial applications as well as Business Intelligence software is necessary to be successful in this position. This position will be based in our West Los Angeles global headquarters.
Details: Your Primary responsibility will be to help maintain quality of the products we produce. This includes user interface quality assurance testing of the BI360 product suite as well as writing and maintaining the documentation associated with the different components of the suite.
Responsibilities also include:
- Contribute to formulation of Test Plan documents.
- Assure designed test cases cover all business requirements within the agreed scope.
- Develop a variety of technical and product related documentation including technical manuals and white papers.
- Participate in continuous improvement of the user experience.
- Brainstorm with product team to improve existing features and design new features.
- Assist the consulting department with high profile customer, partner and internal product support issues.
Qualifications:
Completed Bachelor degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related field required. An Exceptional academic history is required as well as experience working at least one summer internship in a professional office environment.
The position requires excellent organizational, qualitative and analytical skills as well as the ability to apply a creative approach to problem solving. The successful candidate will demonstrate an ability to learn on the fly and multi-task. Excellent written and verbal communication skills are also mandatory to succeed in this position.
