After opening any of the Reporting components, you find that only the OneStop Authentication is available and Windows Authentication is not in the dropdown menu.
Answer
Overview: When opening any of the Reporting components, the BI360 application requires you to either login with onestop authentication or windows authentication.
Cause: Cause is yet to be determined.
Solution/Workaround: The reg key <Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OneStop Reporting\Settings\AuthenticationMode> must be changed from “Default, System” to “Default, WindowsAndSystem”. To do so, follow these steps:
1. Open the Start Menu and type in RegEdit in the search box. 2. In the Registry Editor, expand Computer -> HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SOFTWARE -> OneStop Reporting -> Settings. 3. After selecting the Settings folder, you will see a reg key called AuthenticationMode 4. Double-click on the key to edit the data. Change the Value Data to Default, WindowsAndSystem
If you reopen Designer or Composer, you will be able to select Windows Authentication as a mode of authentication.
